Iwona Preisis since June 2017 a C.E.O. of Intercult Productions, leading the organisation´s strategic development and daily operations.  She is an initiator and leader of international culture projects, applying for funds and managing international partners teams from EU and beyond.  The organisation works as European Resource Centre for Culture with European office Europe Direct Information Centre and Swedish network of culture operators Access Europa, acting educator, initiating debate and setting up spaces for cultural dialogue. Iwona Preis joined Intercult in 2011 after several years of working as EU adviser and Project Manager for publicly financed collaborations, in Sweden and internationally, with partners from Europe, Russia and Middle East. Born in Poland and living in Sweden, she considers herself a citizen of Europe, always working from both an intercultural and international perspective. The main objective of Iwona’s advisory work was to be a valuable resource for organisations, public administrations and enterprises on EU funded projects. During that time she was also a project manager of Integration Platform for Stockholm County at the County Administrative Board of Stockholm.

2015 Iwona has been appointed a President of European, membership driven culture network River//Cities, leading strategic development, project development and engaging in impact of culture on sustainable development of urban waterfronts.

Since June 2017 she is also Chair/ CEO of SMartSE  (SMart Produktionshus).
