Take part of our first, investigatory month in Lisbon in March 2019 via the video to the right. The visit in Lisbon was a part of the project S.O.S. Climate Waterfront, an interdisciplinary research project that investigates areas close to water in Europe that are threatened by climate changes. The project collects different disciplines in order to shape strategies for sustainable infrastructure and urban planning in the future Europe.

During our first month, we explored the areas Alcochete Marshland, Cascais and Ribeira d’Illhas World Surfing Reserve together with researchers, experts and students in architecture, urban planning, climate and environment, culture and economics. The goals is to find sustainable solutions for the areas close to water in Europe by inviting different disciplines and perspectives into the process.
