Event on October 25th / 1pm-4pm

TIDSFLANÖRERNA (Time Strollers)

During the last month, five Stockholm based artists were researching the post industrial cultural heritage on waterfronts between Norra Hammarby, Tegelvikshamnen and Stadsgården which are undergoing a transformation process. By doing silent walks, raising questions and travelling back in history, they explored these areas from an artistic point of view developing individual creative projects. The results will be presented on multiple nearby sites of the Fåfängan area and include walking acts, sound, photography and film. The event will start with a gathering by the Wallrite Building (Tegelviksslingan 20) where the artists will briefly introduce their projects followed by the artistic interventions. The audience will have the possibility to freely move around and discover the different performances and artworks. The event will mainly take place outside and a warm drink will be served.

Participating Artists: Artist duo and curators SIMKA (Karin Lind and Simon Häggblom), Oskar Gudéhn, Felice Hapetzeder, Sofia Romberg.

Time: Sunday, October 25th / 1pm – 4 pm

Place: Wallrite Building – Tegelviksslingan 20 / closest bus station: Londonviadukten

This event is part of the project “Connecting Georgia” which connects artists in Batumi and Stockholm under the theme of exploring the post-industrial heritage in cities situated by water. The artists in Stockholm have worked together with artists from Batumi during the last year. As a result Batumi is hosting an artistic event in november. Connecting Georgia is co-financed by Swedish Institute third country collaboration program. The project is also connected to artistic collaboration within Memory of Water Creative Europe.

Of course we follow restrictions for the parts of the event that take place indoors! The event is free of chare and you can come at any time.
